Arrival in Istanbul. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight in Istanbul.  

Depart hotel at 09:00 AM with your tour guide for a tour of historic Istanbul visiting Topkapi Palace which was home to Ottoman Sultans for almost 400 years from 1460
to 1856, Hagia Sophia which was built as a church in 537 AD and it was converted into a mosque in 1453 by Ottomans once was the largest church for almost 1000 years, Blue Mosque built by Sultan Ahmet I in 1616 the interior is decorated with 20,000 blue tiles from Iznik, Roman Hippodrome where the horse chariot races took place and Underground Basilica Cistern. In the evening you will take a flight to Izmir. You will be met at Izmir airport and transferred to your hotel in Selcuk or Kusadasi near Ephesus. B.  

Depart hotel at 09:00 am in the morning with your tour guide and visit ancient ruins of Ephesus, one of the best preserved ancient sites of Greek-Roman. Later you will visit the site of Temple of Artemis which was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. You will also visit remains of Basilica of St John built in 6th Century AD over the tomb of John the Apostle. In the afternoon you can visit Sirince, a charming village in the nearby mountains famous for its wineries. In the evening you will be transferred to
Izmir airport to take a flight to Kayseri. In Kayseri you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Avanos Cappadocia. Overnight in Cappadocia. B. 

Depart hotel in the morning with your tour guide and visit Goreme Open Air Museum for well-preserved Byzantine cave churches with frescoes. Later drive up to Uchisar for panoramic views and explore cave houses which form a great introduction into Cappadocian culture. Later on we will also go to Pasabag for volcanicrock formations known as fairy chimneys. Overnight in Cappadocia. B.  

In the morning optional Hot Air Balloon Flight over Cappadocia. 

Depart for a tour of Kaymaklı Underground City, a complex shelter carved out of solid volcanic rock for the use in wartime. Later we will travel to Ihlara Valley where you can walk along the river exploring old Byzantine cave churches and monasteries with fine frescoes depicting the Bible. On the way back you can also visit a caravanserai on the Silk Road where merchants andtravellers used to stay in the medieval times. Overnight in Cappadocia. B.  

Pick up from your hotel in the morning and transfer to airport for a short flight to Istanbul. Arrive in Istanbul and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight in Istanbul. B.  

You will be picked up from your hotel 3 hours prior to your outbound flight and transfer to airport. Tour will end at the airport. B.
