Day 1. IZMIR ARRIVAL
Arrive in Izmir Airport and look for a sign with your name on it to meet your driver to transfer to your hotel. In Selcuk. In the evening your tour guide will meet you for a trip briefing. Overnight in Selcuk.
Day 2. EPHESUS
This morning you will visit Ephesus, one of the main historic highlights of Turkey with its best preserved rich and detailed ruins dating back to ancient Ionian and Roman times. The remains of the largest theatre of ancient times with a 25,000 seats capacity, Celsius library, Hadrian’s temple, roman bath, terrace houses with mosaics and wall paintings are a few of the ruins that you will see. Finish around noon time and rest of the day is free to enjoy swimming pool or to nearby beach of Pamucak. B.
Day 3. STRATONICEA - DALYAN
This morning you will depart your hotel after breakfast and head to the one of the most interesting ancient site. Stratonicea ruins scattered around the village of Eskihisar in a beatiful countryside setting. You will enjoy a walking tour around the village and ancient ruins with your tour guide. Later you will travel to Dalyan, a beautiful town by the river. Overnight in Dalyan. B.
Day 4. DALYAN BOAT TRIP
Today you will enjoy a boat trip through Dalyan River Delta. First stop will be a hot spring with a mud bath. Later we will enjoy a walking tour of Ancient Kaunos before having a swimming break at Iztuzu beach, one of the longest sandy beach of Turkey. . Depending on season you may enjoy catching Blue Crabs and see loggerhead turtles known as Caretta Caretta. Overnight in Dalyan B.
Day 5. KAYAKOY – OLUDENIZ - FETHIYE
This morning a short drive will take to the deserted Greek Village of Kayakoy which is a Ghost Town today as it was abandoned by its Greek inhabitant during the Turkish-Greek Partition of 1923 and it was never inhabited again. Enjoy a lovely walk around this ghost town and trek through the hills and mountains of ancient Lycia enjoying great view of Mediterranean coast for couple hours. After 2 hours trekking you will arrive Oludeniz, The Turkish Blue Lagoon. Rest of the day is free enjoying swimming or lazing by the beach. Overnight in Fethiye. B.
Day 6. KALKAN - KAS
Today you will visit ancient Xantos which was the capital city of Lycian League some 2 thousand years ago. The site is charming with its ancient theatre and tower tombs. Today it is an UNESCO Whorld Heritage Site. Later we will continue to the charming coastal town of Kalkan. Enjoy a lunch break and explore the old downtown before departing for Kaş travelling along the beautiful Turquoise coast. Overnight in Kas. B.
Day 7. KEKOVA BOAT TRIP
Today we will enjoy a boat trip around Kekova Island, one of the coastal gem of Turkish Mediterranean. Cruise around small islands and secluded coves and visit the remains of partly submerged ancient Lycian town of Simena. Later in the evening return to Kas. Overnight in Kas. B.L.
Day 8. ANTALYA
This morning you will travel along the Mediterranean coast and visit the church St Nicolas in Myra where Santa Clause served as a Bishop in the 4th Century AD. Later we will be guest of a family and enjoy a cooking class to learn how to cook yummy Turkish dishes. Later we will have a swimming break before heading to Antalya. Overnight in Antalya. B.
Day 9. ANTALYA
Free day at your leisure in Antalya. You may explore the old town and local bazaars or laze by the beach. Overnight in Antalya. B.
Day 10. DEPARTURE
You will be picked up 3 hours prior to your outbound flight departure for your transfer to the airport. Tour will end at the airport. B.
