Bursa is the first major capital of Ottoman Empire and rich in history and culture. We start early in the morning from your hotel in Istanbul to visit Bursa and back to Istanbul in the late evening.

Your tour guide and driver will meet you at 07:00 AM at your hotel in Istanbul and continue to Bursa. Our journey will take around 2.5 hours. We will first visit the Green Tomb for its green tiles where Ottoman Sultan Mehmet I is buried. Later we will head to the downtown area for a walking tour. We will first visit Ulucami, an early Ottoman Imperial Mosque with a large selection of calligraphy decorating interior. Later we will explore the silk market. Bursa has been a center for Ottoman Silks for centuries. We will also explore the surrounding historic bazaars and old inns. In the afternoon we will visit the tomb of Osman Bey, the founder of Ottoman Empire and his son Orhan Bey who conquered Bursa in 1326. We will also enjoy a great view of city from Tophane hill before heading back to Istanbul.
